"WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONVEY HOW GRATEFUL WE ARE..."
Dear Jamie and the CLS staff,
John and I wanted to say "thank you" for your dedication to teaching and ministry, your leadership, and most importantly your Christian example which is displayed to the children at Covenant Life School on a daily basis. To teach is to touch a life forever ... and you and the staff at CLS have touched so many lives over the years. We cannot thank you enough for opening the doors of CLS to our daughter as a non-member of Covenant Life Church. As I've shared with some of you, when Kaitlyn entered 8th grade at Church of the Redeemer Christian School, she did not want to go to public school for 9th grade, and basically told me that if another school didn't open, I was going to have to home school her. That would have been an interesting adventure for both of us! But Praise the Lord, as we were praying, the Lord was working to open a door of opportunity for her, that we as her parents are eternally grateful for.
We are so thankful for each one of you and cannot thank you enough for your care for Kaitlyn over these past four years and for the many ways you have poured into her life, both academically and spiritually. The fruit of your efforts is evident in her life today. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you in the lives of the children he places in your care and for submitting to his will and the calling he has placed on your lives. We truly appreciate the sacrifices you have made to advance the Kingdom here on earth just a Christ did for all of us. As Kaitlyn shared in her Senior thesis, "showing people love is the best way to show them who Christ is," and you will all be remembered for that and so much more. We will never be able to convey in words how grateful we are that our lives crossed paths.
The graduation ceremony was beautiful and so thoughtful ... I don't think we've ever experienced something so special. The thought you put into sharing things about each of the students was such a blessing and an encouragement. And for all the guests that were present there ... what a testimony!!!! So many young lives serving as ambassadors for Christ on a mission for his glory.
We hope you all have a wonderful and rest-filled summer and we will be keeping the school covered in prayer. Our God is an awesome God!!!!
With sincerest thanks for everything,
