christian education in high school

Covenant Life School is similar to private schools in the metropolitan DC area with a competitive college preparatory curriculum and guidance program, and high academic and personal character standards.

Teaching, guidance and relationships align with and reinforce a Christian family's values and beliefs.

Godly teachers impart who they are and model how to live life as mature followers of Christ.

We partner with parents to help students understand the culture and to develop a biblical worldview and pursue spiritual goals.

Students are encouraged to ask the hard questions, and they learn to accept, encourage and challenge their peers.

We show students how to learn from God's Word and apply it to their lives.

We seek to model and nurture the desire to live passionately for the Lord.

CLS features small classrooms and a broad spectrum of courses that meet our students' needs, interests and abilities, including general math, art, music and band, and computer classes.

We offer students honors classes, advanced placement (AP) courses, seminars, and special interest classes during J-term.

Students also participate in  wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom in extracurricular activities including JV and varsity athletics,  retreats, service projects, missions, week-long work internships, leadership development programs and opportunities such as student government (SGA), the National Honor Society, choir and art competitions, yearbook and the school newspaper.
