    a parent's perspective on preschool

When considering if and where to send our 3 year old daughter to preschool, one of the major things that convinced us to send her to Covenant Life was my own experience as a student at CLS, especially how I consistently had teachers who centered their teaching on the Lord. To this day, most of the Scriptures I have memorized and can readily call to mind are ones that I learned in my first few years at CLS. I'm so excited to see that my daughter is getting this same Biblical foundation in preschool. Mrs. Ellis does a fantastic job teaching the kids about the Lord in an understandable and fun way. My daughter will come home talking about how "God paints the leaves" in the fall, or singing "Make God #1! This is the first commandment." In addition to being a godly influence, Mrs. Ellis is simply a terrific preschool teacher. She gets excited about crayons, which get the kids used to the way they will be holding pencils, she is passionate that the kids can identify AND pronounce their ABC's, and my 3 year old can now recite the Pledge of Allegiance! We are so grateful that our daughter is going to preschool at Covenant Life and has Mrs. Ellis as her teacher." CLS Parent
