ATHLETICS

God claims every sphere of life for his own glory, including sports. This means that our involvement in interscholastic athletics should please God. So, our main goals in the athletics program are to bring God glory (1 Corinthians 10:31) and to seek the good of others (1 Corinthians 10:23-24). We aim for these goals in three complimentary areas: character, competition, and community. We encourage students to take advantage of the opportunities to develop their character and their physical abilities for the glory of God in the context of athletic competition.
Covenant Life School has 17 athletic teams and coaches over 200 student-athletes each year in middle school and high school, competing in the Maryland Independent Athletic Conference for most of our sports. Several varsity teams also compete in the Maryland Christian State Tournaments. We have teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. Athletics play an important role in the Covenant Life School experience for everyone in our school community.

PHYSICAL FORM – Students must have a current physical on file with the athletic office. Physicals are good for one year. If a physical expires mid-season, a student must get a new physical on file with the athletic office at that time. All physical forms should be turned in to the Athletic Director, Jen Brewer.
FSP Questionnaire – Homeschool students must submit this form to verify eligibility.
Our Athletics Director sends the weekly Cougar Link with updates on upcoming athletic events and practices. For questions or to start receiving the Cougar Link, contact Jen Brewer.
