Just as we encourage our students to grow and become life-long learners, we want to set the same example as their teachers and faculty. To that end, our accreditation project over the last 7 years was to centralize and bolster our guidance department to provide a robust program that ensures student success in academic, career, and personal development.
A team from ACSI USA (Association of Christian Schools International) visited our school last week to observe all the elements of our education—from crosswalks to curriculum—and to look more intently at the school’s Guidance Program Project. They met with various focus groups–parents, students, and faculty–and visited classrooms and offices throughout their visit.
Though we have yet to receive the full written report, the ACSI team expressed their respect and appreciation for our “high quality academics, close-knit, and godly school community”. They especially highlighted that we’ve done a great job with our Guidance project, led by Kathy Simpson. Praise God for good reports and opportunities!
